The story follows a girl called JoJo whose life is shaken up when her beloved dance coach makes a decision to retire and is changed by a sparkle-hating trainer called Poppy. Wanting to stay in the competing a forthcoming dancing competition, JoJo as well as her best friends, The Rubies, have to try their hardest to comply with Poppy's new, harsh policies.
