The story follows a girl called JoJo whose life is shaken up when her beloved dance coach makes a decision to retire and is changed by a sparkle-hating trainer called Poppy. Wanting to stay in the competing a forthcoming dancing competition, JoJo as well as her best friends, The Rubies, have to try their hardest to comply with Poppy's new, harsh policies. Understanding she can not hide her glimmer or bow any longer, JoJo is rejected of her dance performers and also have to uncover what dance suggests to her.
