After the death of Mao's mom - Pai - who was called the Siren of Cuisine, Mao intends to be the Master Cook of his mother's restaurant. However, before Mao takes his mom's area as Master Cook, he travels to China in order to learn more of the many methods of food preparation, in the hopes of ending up being a fabulous cook just like his mother.
