Macross Zero
Occurring one year prior to the events of the initial Macross collection, Macross Zero narrates the final days of the war between the U.N. Spacy and also anti-U.N. intrigues. After being rejected by the anti-U.N.'s newest boxer plane, ace pilot Shin Kudo locates himself on the remote island of Mayan, where innovation is practically non-existent. While Shin remains on the island to heal his injuries, the tranquility of the island is ruined by a fight that entails the UN's most recent competitor - the VF-0.
