Appare-Ranman!
During the back-end of the 19th century, the genius but socially unpleasant designer Sorano Appare and the wise yet afraid samurai Isshiki Kosame find themselves drifting in the sea in between Japan as well as America. With no cash, the duo make a decision to go into the Trans-America Wild Race to win the prize money so they can obtain home. Both experience competitors, outlaws, as well as challenges in the wilderness as they race with America, from the starting line in Los Angeles to the finish line in New york city, in the steam-powered vehicle they developed.
