White Irish Drinkers
A coming of age story set in 1975 working-class Brooklyn, in which two teenage bros dealing with their abusive father and their well-meaning but ineffective mom are caught up in a life of minor criminal offense. Older brother Danny cooks up a bold system to steal sufficient cash for both to escape, timed around the mayhem of an upcoming Rolling Stones show. The delicate more youthful sibling, Brian, ultimately has a choice: remain devoted to the sibling with whom he shares a powerful love-hate bond, or utilize his covert ability as a musician as his very own ticket out of their dead-end existence.
