Top Knot Detective

In the very early 1990s, a Japanese samurai investigative collection was broadcast in Australia and became a cult success. Labelled in Japan "Ronin Suiri Tentai" (indicating roughly "Deductive Reasoning Ronin"), it was quickly recognized in the West as "Top Knot Investigator." The original series was famous in Japan, a social train accident led by Takashi Tawagoto, an insane author, manufacturer, supervisor and lead star; one that might not act, combat or compose in any way.
