The Crime of Monsieur Lange

A male and a female get here in a cafe-hotel near the belgian frontier. The clients identify the man from the cops's description. His name is Amedee Lange, he murdered Batala in Paris. His lady friend Valentine informs the whole story: Lange was a staff member in Batala's little printing works. Batala was an actual bastard, ripping off every one, attracting female employees of Valentine's washing ... One day he fled to prevent facing his creditors, and also the employees established a cooperative to take place working. Yet the plot is less important that the description of the atmosphere right before the Popular Front.
