Jenny McLean is a single mother operating at a 911-call facility battling to make ends fulfill and raise her two kids, Elsie as well as Luke. Although still reeling from her divorce, Jenny can not assist yet flirt when she gets emergency situation calls from Jeff, a neighborhood fireman she labels "Cowboy" for his handsome voice.
