Murders in the Rue Morgue

In 19th Century Paris, the maniacal Dr. Mirakle kidnaps girls and also infuses them with ape blood in an attempt to prove ape-human kinship. He regularly satisfies failure as the abducted women die. Medical pupil Pierre Dupin uncovers what Mirakle is doing far too late to stop the kidnapping of his sweetheart Camille. Now he frantically tries to get the help of the police to obtain her back.
