Mao's Last Dancer

At the age of 11, Li was tweezed from an inadequate Chinese village by Madame Mao's social delegates as well as taken to Beijing to research ballet. In 1979, during a cultural exchange to Texas, he loved an American woman. Two years later, he took care of to issue and went on to execute as a principal dancer for the Houston Ballet and also as a major artist with the Australian Ballet.
