The Golem: How He Came into the World
Experiencing under the tyrannical rule of Rudolf II in 16th-century Prague, a Talmudic rabbi produces a huge warrior to safeguard the safety and security of his people. Sculpted of clay as well as computer animated by the mysterious keys of the Cabala, the Golem was an apparently unbreakable juggernaut, executing acts of terrific heroism, yet just as capable of distressing physical violence. When the rabbi's aide takes control of the Golem and tries to use him for egocentric gain, the lumbering monster runs rampant, snatching the rabbi's little girl and also setting fire to the ghetto.
