Sugar
Follows the story of Miguel Santos, a. k. a. Sugar (Algenis Perez Soto), a Dominican pitcher from San Pedro de Macorís, struggling to make it to the big leagues and pull himself as well as his household out of poverty. Playing properly at a baseball academy in the Dominican Republic, Miguel lastly obtains his break at age 19 when he breakthroughs to the USA' minors system; yet when his use the pile falters, he starts to examine the one-track mind of his life's ambition.
